eCYBERMISSION Competition
Attention Middle School Teachers:
eCYBERMISSION would like to invite you to the Natick Soldier Systems
Center on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, from 3:30 4:30 p.m. in room D-200 for
an information session to increase Science, Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics (STEM) education in our community and get your students
involved in this exceptional program.
eCYBERMISSION is a free, web-based, STEM competition for students in
grades six through nine. Teams of three or four students find a problem
in their community and try to solve it using the scientific
method/inquiry or engineering design process with the help of an adult
Team Advisor.
The competition encourages and rewards students from a diverse range of
proficiency levels, interests and backgrounds, while teaching students
that teamwork, innovation, creativity and the real-life applications of
STEM education can have a positive impact on their communities and
their futures. The program awards students at the state, regional and
national level with the opportunity to win up to $8,000 in U.S. EE
Savings Bonds.
For any questions about the program, contact eCYBERMISSION at
1-866-GO-CYBER (462-9237) or email volunteerprogram@ecybermission.com.
To RSVP provide your name and whether you are a US citizen to Rebecca
Engle at Rebecca.engle@us.army.mil.
