Massachusetts Envirothon seeks Program Coordinator for 2009-10


The Massachusetts Envirothon is a statewide high school environmental
education program (See http://www.maenvirothon.org).

The Program Coordinator assists the Massachusetts Envirothon Committee with
key communications and administrative tasks relating to the annual
Envirothon event.  Major roles include registration and record-keeping, and
facilitating connections between the Committee and Envirothon coaches and
teams.

Candidates should have significant experience in the field of education and
skill in planning/coordinating events.  Communication skills, timeliness,
and careful record-keeping are essential.   Experience with high school
teachers, environmental education, and web site management is preferred.

This is a part time, contracted position.  Position requires a home office,
a car, and a valid drivers license.  The job requires some work in every
month of the year, but is busiest in April/May.

$20/hour for up to 500 hours, September 2009 through June 2010.
