What participants said about our August Mindfulness Retreat for Teachers:

Beautiful, peaceful, and inspiring place
Mindfulness practices were enjoyable and easy to use in every day life

As one of those people whose mind is always running in a hundred
different directions, it took me awhile to slow things down. I enjoyed the
gentle but steadfast reminders to slow down and stay in the moment

Unfortunately teaching can be very stressful at times and the
retreat helped to remember that I have tools for dealing with stress and
that I can use mindfulness. It also was fitting to have a day all for myself
before school began- so often I am doing a million things for others that I
don't take time just for me

Ideas shared by other teachers were interesting, and I would like to try to
implement some of them in my teaching

Marilyn's workshop was presented in a well paced and thoughtful way with
ample time for the most essential ingredient of personal practice
