ASPIRE HS Student Registration Extended
Since 1998, the ASPIRE program has been designed for high school students
interested in science. Its goal is to introduce these students to polymer
concepts in a research laboratory atmosphere that cannot be obtained from
their own school curricula. For five consecutive Saturday mornings beginning
on January 9, 2010, students are taught polymer principles and then utilize
their new knowledge to apply the principles in a laboratory setting,
synthesizing, characterizing and testing polymers. At the end of the
five-week period, students receive a certificate of completion for their
participation, which provides a unique addition to their resume.
Students must be sophomores, juniors or seniors in order to apply.
Please use the application at our below site or contact Greg Dabkowski at
413-545-0045 for more information.
