STEM Ed Announcement: ITOP physics courses



The Department of Physics and the School of Education at Boston
University are continuing their offering of courses for physics
teachers. The courses are part of the sequence Improving the
Teaching of Physics (Project ITOP) offered in Boston and Chicopee.
Partial tuition support for Project ITOP courses is provided by a
grant from the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education and the
Improving Teacher Quality Program.

The following courses will begin shortly.


January 6 -- February 24_: NS 542 Section A1: Concepts in Physics
III: Fluids and Thermodynamics (2 credits). Meets at Boston
University on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 7:30. (No meeting during
school vacation week.)

January 4 -- March 1_: NS 547 Section A1: Concepts in Modern
Physics II: Special Relativity (2 credits). Meets at Boston
University on Mondays from 4:30 to 7:30. (No meeting during school
vacation week.)

January 7 -- February 25_: NS 547 Section B1: Concepts in Modern
Physics II: Quantum Physics (2 credits). Meets at Chicopee
Comprehensive High School on Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:30. (No
meeting during school vacation week.)
