Greetings from Coastal Studies for Girls!
We would like to share some news and also ask for your help.
As you may know, on Valentine's Day, CSG opens the doors to its pioneering
class of girls! In just over two weeks, we will be welcoming girls from all
across the country to our coastal Maine campus for Spring Term 2010. We are
delighted that we are attracting a diverse group of bright, capable girls
for our very first class, with students coming from public, independent and
home schools in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, California, New York,
Maryland, and Vermont. We are eager for them to meet each other and our
dedicated staff, and to begin the exciting work of coastal marine research,
academic study, leadership development, and involvement in our residential
community.
*Along with opportunity comes challenge. We have just had two students
withdraw unexpectedly, leaving two spaces open for immediate filling. This
presents an amazing opportunity for two qualified, deserving
students. Scholarships are available.*
If you know a 10th grade girl who might be interested in a life-changing
living and learning experience on the Maine coast, please contact us right
away. Once we identify an interested student, we will then be able to get in
contact with the student, her family and school, so that we can expedite the
application and admission process.
