Forest Ecology Research in the Schoolyard
Summer Institute for Teachers 2010 
August 17th and 18th

The Harvard Forest offers a Forest Ecology training institute for teachers
of grades 4-12.   Learn from professional Ecologists how to implement field
studies with your students, right in your schoolyard. 

                                  
Teachers from all districts are encouraged to participate in this
orientation to our year long Schoolyard Ecology program which includes two
School-year Seminars in addition to the Summer Institute.  
PDPs awarded to all participants. 

NEW This year!  Graduate Credit Available through Fitchburg State College.

___ August 17th Intro. Workshop-Project introduction, materials and PDPs
provided-$55 registration fee.  Includes 2 optional follow-up workshops
during the school-year.

___August 17th and 18th- Graduate Credit Option. All of above plus Graduate
Course planning and discussion session. $55 registration fee plus $255 to
Fitchburg State College. Details re: Graduate Course Credit Option available
on request. 

Registration Deadline: July 15th.  Limit to 20 participants in each study
group.
