Register now for eCYBERMISSION and become eligible for more awards!
New for 2010-2011
eCYBERMISSION, the U.S. Army's free, web-based, science, technology,
engineering and mathematics (STEM) competition for students in grades
six through nine, is pleased to announce an updated awards structure
that is designed increase awards to many more eCYBERMISSION
participants for their hard work - 66% of students who submit a
Mission Folder will receive recognition.
The new structure allows for students to win at three separate levels:
state, regional and national. The updated awards structure is designed
for each state to have eight winning teams, with a total possible
award per state of $24,000.
State Awards per grade:
· First-place state winners - $1,000 U.S. Series EE savings bond per student
· Second-place state winners - $500 U.S. Series EE savings bond per student
· Honorable mention awards - Award certificate and STEM tool kit per student Regional Awards per grade:
· First-place regional winners - $2,000 U.S. Series EE savings bond per student and an all-expense paid trip to the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area to compete for the first-place national award National Awards per grade:
· First-place national winners - $5,000 U.S. Series EE savings bond per student

The earlier you register, the sooner your students can get a jump on
the competition and work on their Mission Folders. For ways to
incorporate eCYBERMISSION into your curriculum, please contact Mission
Control. We'll provide you with successful strategies and tips for
building the competition into class time.
Registration for the ninth annual eCYBERMISSION competition is
underway at www.ecybermission.com. The deadline for registration is
Dec. 17 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Don't wait - register now!
