1) WINTER SOLSTICE SUNRISE & SUNSET GATHERINGS at the U.MASS. SUNWHEEL

2) Total Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon -- early morning hours Dec. 21,
2010:
The eclipse is visible in its entirety from North America. Totality
lasts from 2:41 to 3:53 a.m. For detailed eclipse information, visit

3) SOUTHERNMOST MOON (New Moon near Solstice, not visible) -- Dec. 6,
2010
NORTHERNMOST MOON (Full Moon @ Solstice) -- Dec. 21, 2010: The
Full Moon on 12/21 will set over the Sunwheel's Summer Solstice sunset
stone at 7 a.m. Come to the Sunwheel to see this and find out why.
