Summer 2012 Online professional development course (June 22nd- August
17th):
INCORPORATING GREEN CHEMISTRY INTO THE HIGH SCHOOL: LESSON, LAB AND
PRACTICE
This course is designed for the high school chemistry and general
science teachers who see sustainability as a core understanding for all
students. By signing up for this 8 week course (45 contact hours)
teachers will receive cutting edge science content and tools to learn at
your own pace. The materials are designed for high-tech, low-tech and
no-tech implementation so that teachers with varying resources have a
clear avenue for implementation. The course cost is $300. 3 Graduate
course credits are available for an additional cost of $150 from
Colorado School of Mines. Limited scholarships are available please ask
about eligibility criteria.
Sign-up begins today and the deadline for registration is June 15th.
