The Emerging Scientists Camp (Springfield College) will include a variety of exciting science and mathematics-based activities led by Springfield College professors of biology, chemistry, computer science, earth science, mathematics, and physics that are related to environmental concerns and issues.  Events will include energy auditing, alternative energy related activities, water and air quality monitoring, and computational modeling activities of various ecosystems.  We are currently in the process of designing specific activities for the camp. The program will run from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. each day.   A buffet lunch and morning snack will be provided each day.  Eighteen (18) students will attend the camp.  The college is currently in the process of determining which middle school(s) in the Springfield area will participate in the camp.
