Nanotechnology Education

Professor of Physics, UMass Amherst

Mark is the Co-Director of the NSF Center for Hierarchical
Manufacturing and MassNanoTech on campus and is the Director of the
National Nanomanufacturing Network. For the past 10 years he has led an
effort to bring nanotechnology into classrooms at all levels. This
program includes summer institutes and Saturday Seminars for K12 science
teachers, multimedia modules, materials for community college
technician training courses, and UMass courses for undergraduate and
graduate students.

STEM seminars are held at 4PM on the first and third Tuesdays of each
month during the academic year in Hasbrouck 138. Everyone is welcome; no
reservations are needed, and there is no charge.

Parking is available in the Campus Center Garage.
