STEM Ed Announcement: Educational Video Opportunity

This is not a UMass program.
 Contact information is below.
Subject: Educational Video Opportunity - Teacher Recruitment
This summer, the Classroom Media Workshop, through a Fellowship at the
Harvard Graduate School of Education, successfully piloted with 15 teachers
from across the United States and Canada. The online course was created in
an effort to empower teachers to design and create educational video for the
classroom. Applications of media include blended learning environments,
produce engaging content for their students, or increase digital literacy in
 the classroom.
With great feedback and momentum, the workshop will be publicly launching
this Fall. In an effort to bring greater authenticity to the learning
experience, the creators of the course seek 1-2 teachers to participate in
the course to take an accelerated version of the workshop. Their
participation will be documented and utilized in the public course as a
learning guide for other teachers. Expected time commitment will be 3-5
hours of online preparation through the course portal and one day of on-site
 Benefits include:
 - Free enrollment in an advanced release of the Classroom Media Workshop
 - Personalized consultation and training for creating video in your
 - classroom
 - Opportunity to learn new media skills, receive ongoing support, and create
 - video content with a Harvard University Fellow and award-winning media
 - producer
 - Stipend
