STEM Ed Announcement: Women in the Workforce

 "Women in the Workforce"

 Where:  1350 Main Street, Conference Room A, 3rd Floor
 Springfield, MA
 Time:      9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
 The U.S. Department of Labor Women's Bureau, the only federal agency with
 the mission of advancing the interests of women in the work force, is
 hosting a Roundtable Presentation and Discussion on several current
 initiatives including equal pay, workplace flexibility, the reintegration of
 returning women veterans, and higher paying and non-traditional occupations
 for women including those in clean energy, STEM (science, technology,
 engineering, and math), building trades, and transportation.
 In addition to Women's Bureau presentations, the Massachusetts Attorney
 General's Office will provide an overview of the Fair Labor Division's work,
 with a special focus on workers' rights pertaining to women in the
 The Roundtable is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is
 required to ensure sufficient space.
