STEM Ed Announcement: Director of Middle and High School Programs

 Director of Middle and High School Programs
 Reporting to the Director of Education, responsibilities include
 oversight of an array of innovative, content rich youth development
 programming with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering and
 math (STEM), academic success, economic literacy, and health and
 wellness for girls age 13-18.  Duties include: manage daily program
 operations; hire and supervise program staff, volunteers, and
 interns; assist with grant and budget management; facilitate
 programs; develop calendar of program offerings; track membership
 data and support ongoing evaluation. 
 We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor.s Degree in education, or
 relevant field, plus a minimum of three years of experience in formal
 or informal educational settings including program management,
 program and curriculum development, program marketing and outreach,
 and program evaluation.  Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.  
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to
 network with other organizations and agencies, including institutions
 of higher education; work independently and as a team member.
 Self-starter, ability to problem solve, and quick thinking with
 attention to detail are other abilities desired.
