STEM Ed Announcement: MassDiGI Open House

 You are cordially invited to the third annual MassDiGI Summer Innovation 
 Program Open House on Thursday, August 7 at 1pm.
 
 For the past 11 weeks, 22 students from 11 different colleges and 
 universities have been building 4 games and at Open House you will have 
 a chance to meet them and be one of the first to play their games.
 
 The event is free and open to all so please feel free to share with 
 family, friends, colleagues and social media. A link to the event

 Where: MassDiGI, Becker College, Weller Academic Center, 61 Sever St., 
 Worcester
 
 About SIP: MassDiGIs Summer Innovation Program (SIP) is the largest 
 internship program of its kind in the country. This year over 150 top 
 game development students from 31 colleges and universities applied for 
 one of the 22 internship positions. Ultimately, students from Becker, 
 Berklee College of Music, Hampshire College, Massachusetts Institute of 
 Technology, Mt. Holyoke College, Northeastern University, Rhode Island 
 School of Design, Smith College, Tufts University, UMass Lowell and 
 Worcester Polytechnic Institute were selected.
 
 The program, began on May 20 and will conclude on August 8. Over that 
 time period, with guidance from professional staff and industry mentors, 
 SIP teams have been responsible for all the work required to 
 successfully launch their games in the market.
 
 As in past years, SIP students are housed by Becker College and earn a 
 stipend for their work.
