More about Marjorie Kelly and her talk
Marjorie Kelly will kick off the day with highlights of flourishing
businesses and institutions around the world that can withstand the
challenges that fluctuations in the international markets pose to local
economies. Kelly is the former editor of Business Ethics magazine and as
co-founder of Tellus Institutes Corporation 20/20, she has brought
hundreds of leaders from business, finance, labor, government, law, and
civil society to explore creating new ways of doing societal good while
 building thriving businesses.
 Quote from Marjorie Kelly
As long as businesses are set up to focus exclusively on maximizing
financial income for the few, our economy will be locked into endless
and widening inequality. Now people are experimenting with new forms of
ownership aimed at creating conditions for all of life to thrive for many
generations to come. These designs may hold the key to the deep
 transformation our civilization needs.
