NGSS practice: Developing and using models
The second session of the Teaching and Learning with STEM Projects
series will focus projects that emphasize multiple ways of modeling
size, distance, energy, and time in the solar system and the universe.
Modeling is an important STEM practice since it requires the
application of scientific and mathematical knowledge as well as the use
of technological tools. The projects address the mathematical concepts
of unit measurement, unit conversion, scaling, proportion, and
Middle and high school teachers of science, math, engineering,
technology, and/or STEM are invited to join the session.
