Future Goals - Hockey Scholar is an engaging, online STEM course composed of twelve 15-minute modules that bring the 2016 Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Framework to life through the game of hockey. This workshop is for STEM educators in grades 5-8 looking to integrate engaging technology applications into the classroom. All attendees will receive unlimited teacher and student access to Future Goals - Hockey Scholar for their school.
Attendees will register for a teacher account, create classes for immediate classroom implementation, and walk away with standards-aligned online activities and paper-based, supplementary lesson plans. Best implementation practices will be shared and we will work towards aligning modules to scope and sequences.
All resources in this workshop are free and provided by EverFi and The Boston Bruins. Breakfast will be provided. You can park anywhere at UMass on Saturdays. Click here for a campus map. The portion of lot 63 adjacent to the ISB is most convenient.
